TERROIR

The sea and sun of southern France warm the Cabrières grapes to their deepest colors and renowned character.
The horsts and grabens of the Monts de Cabrières lend the vines their stunning beauty and strength.
The Cabrières vineyard is located in a natural amphitheater formed by the hollow of 5 valleys at the foot of Mont Vissou. With its 380 hectares, it is the most intimate and the rarest in Languedoc.

SOLS

The foothills are composed of a rainbow of shales, laminated from 400-550 feet in elevation and becoming more acidic and massive at heights of 560 feet and beyond.
These ubiquitous shales hold the humidity and heat of the day, allowing the grapes to continue to ripen and nourish overnight.
Shale lends natural balance, freshness and longevity to wine.

GRAPES

Clairette du Languedoc, unique in its kind, is characterized by a round minerality and is an exquisite choice for white wines.
The powerful, velvety character of Syrah and its expressive aromas are perfectly suited to Languedoc reds.
The Cinsault rosé, fruity, supple, with floral aromas, has forged the well-deserved reputation of the Cabrières region.
